just so you know, perhaps he was wanted, and perhaps he did things badly, but you cant kill him. you just cant, its not right. you own our island. we were here first, but you insist on owning it. perhaps this may motivate people to act since you also don't let them vote. its just not right... you are wrong.

Wired News: "Fatten the Goose for Market
In Mauritania, thin is definitely not in. Because of an ancient belief that corpulent women are more desirable, girls are routinely force-fed rich foods to prepare them for marriage. The practice is called 'gavage' -- a French word associated with fattening geese to produce foie gras -- and is often accompanied by torture, thought to distract the girls from the force-feeding. Some have had fingers or toes broken, and others had their feet crushed by a 'zayar' -- a wooden vice that would only be loosened after they ate. While gavage is falling out of vogue, some girls now take pills to boost their appetite or animal steroids to help them beef up. Said the head of a government commission, 'Our society has this vision that a woman has to be fat to be beautiful.'

Workers cause big L.A. blackout / Outage affects millions, pointing to grid's vulnerability: "'This strikes me as something under the category of unbelievably bad luck, where you cut one line and have that kind of cascading effect,' said Bob Finkelstein, executive director of The Utility Reform Network in San Francisco, a consumer advocacy group."
Yeah, right. Try that in Puerto Rico and they'll hang you. Last year during Tropical storm Jean the power company shut off the grid in order to avoid an enormous blackout and the whole island was in outrage 'cuz it took almost two whole weeks to get power back on to the most remote regions of the island.
