So recently I had to a racial background survey...
Hispanic or Latino - A person of Cuban, Mexican, Puerto Rican, South or Central American, or other Spanish culture or origin regardless of race.
American Indian-Alaskan Native (Not Hispanic or Latino) - A person having origins in any of the original peoples of North and South America (including Central America), and who maintain tribal affiliation or community attachment.
Asian (Not Hispanic or Latino) - A person having origins in any of the original peoples of the Far East, Southeast Asia, or the Indian Subcontinent, including, for example, Cambodia, China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippine Islands, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Black or African American (Not Hispanic or Latino) - A person having origins in any of the black racial groups of Africa.
Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander (Not Hispanic or Latino) - A person having origins in any of the peoples of Hawaii, Guam, Samoa, or other Pacific Islands.
White (Not Hispanic or Latino) - A person having origins in any of the original peoples of Europe, the Middle East, or North Africa.
Two or More Races (Not Hispanic or Latino) - All persons who identify with more than one of the above races.
Is it me, or does it kinda imply that Latinos/Hispanics are all mixed mutts from all over the placE? I mean they cant choose Two or more races?

hanging in San Antonio, well not exactly, here for work, but man, i've tried to hang out during the nite hours but this place is sloooooooow. i think people must be getting high all the time, cuz public fun is not their thing here. well maybe i'm not goin to the right places, but you would think down town in the "nice" part of the city you would find some decent nite life.
wrooong.
so i guess i'm not recommending san antonio. its kinda boring. oh and yeah people come here with their families, but honestly, taking your kids to Hooters and other bars? really?
i miss you Boriken...

today was one of those days that puts the Warrior in "Road Warrior". i spent a whole day traveling, leaving my house at 530am to catch a 7am flight. all went well until we got to Atlanta, where a freaky thunderstorm mashup closed the airport. we finally boarded at 1030pm to travel to San Antonio. things have since then gotten better, with a great rental car and an awesome hotel to stay at....
here's to a good week.

You know recently it has come to light that people in Puerto Rico use blogs. Wow. Real cutting edge stuff there. You see that's part of the problem here, information is dispensed thru some rather old medias (ie newspaper, tv news) and the decision makers to those venues are ancient and really don't want or have any need to provide real time reports of what is going on with the world.
Why educate people and give them other options if you are benefiting from the status quo? I gave up a long time ago on complaining about the situation here. You simply do your best to enjoy your slice of life, heck, I'm not even gonna use the word paradise. This place is complicated. And competition does not exist, instead the medicore and lazy group up together to badmouth and discredit anyone trying to get things done.
Until this island doesn't look at ourselves as one people, while there are political parties based on division, we will not progress. Yet no one wants to speak out like this. Why change when you can benefit yourself from status quo.
So to those reporting of the blogosphere here on the island, get a life. You guys truly suck. You write in a newspaper that is at least 50% adverts and you truly do not try to present anything new or though provoking.
Peace to all, jah love.

greetings my earthling readers. today in my part of earth they celebrate Easter. funny holiday really, they teach children of a giant bunny who drops candy eggs all over the world. no one is really sure how this relates to the fact that a man named jesus was tortured and almost killed over 2000 years ago, but oh well.
life is good on the island today. people are calm and things are quiet. jah bless.

so its been awhile since i've posted. all is well on the island. spring break is really in full effect this year. the orbitz crowd is everywhere. bargain hunters armed with priceline and google roam the streets looking for cheap booze and pretty beaches.
as for politics, the statehood party had their primary and fortuno won, not rosello. rosello is a former governor who had a super corrupt administration and is trying to be reelected. no more is he in the picture.
life on this island is good. too bad dealing with our government isnt.
